Animated launch trailers for World of Airports game updates, directed by Jakub Kadlec. I was responsible for creating the scenes in Blender, animating, rendering and editing the videos. Usually made within 1-2 weeks using a very iterative workflow to ensure we're always on the same page.
The trailers often deal with vastly different scales, going from eye close-ups to showing the entire airport in a single shot. These transitions require the camera to follow specific exponential acceleration curves while moving upwards, so the motion feels natural.
The airports are always made up of game assets, but we utilize Google 3D Tiles to fill in the surrounding landscapes.
